Introductory
Training
40 hours, eg, one day a week for five weeks, concentrating on the
key elements of pastoral ministry and the Clinical Pastoral Education
method of learning from your own expereince of ministry.
Basic
Training
400 hours of supervised placement, course work, group and individual
supervision, preparation and reports.
- Full-time
Basic Units
are 40 hours a week for 10 to 12 weeks..
- Extended
(Part-time) Basic Units spread
the 400 hours over 6 to 10 months.
Advanced
Training
moves on from Basic Clinical Pastoral Education to a deeper level
of pastoral involvement developing further personal awareness, professional
competence and pastoral sensitivity
Training
in Supervision teaches the theory
and practice of pastoral supervision.
